It’s summertime! And we continue to have beautiful weather right now in Seattle, Washington. You’ll enjoy a starlit sky at night in the hot tub. There is still a warm breeze and plenty of sunshine. And the sunsets…they are spectacular. Living here our whole life we are still in awe at what we see. We feel so fortunate to be able to wake and end our day with this truly breathtaking view.
The flowers are in full bloom. It’ s a beautiful time of year with lots of fun activities and events going on in Seattle and Olde Town Burien. Our guests have been hiking Sunrise and Paradise on Mount Rainier and they were in awe at the absolute beauty they are seeing. The Wild flowers are simply incredible. This is a great hike that you must do if you come in the summer or fall. You’ll find so much to do in our beautiful city. Or you can just lounge around at the cottage all day and relax on the deck with your favorite book. The possibilities are endless. Life is short. Stroll the beach this weekend during low tide and you’ll be amazed at what you can find. The weather is warm, sunny, and comfortable. Enjoy a walk into Olde Burien where you will find unique shops and restaurants and and all the specials they have to offer. One of our favorite places to visit in Seattle is the Ballard Locks. Here you can watch the salmon climbing the fish ladder making their way for the Puget Sound salt water in to the fresh waters of Lake Washington to go up the river and spawn. You can also watch the commercial boast and pleasure boats making their way through the locks. It’s a spectacular site and it’s all free! Even the parking.
